In 2019, as young artists embarking on our journey during our first year at university, we experienced a pivotal realisation. We understood that the opportunities we yearned for weren't simply going to materialise; instead, they awaited us at the intersection of community-building and skill development.

Driven by this understanding, we committed ourselves to the task of laying down and affirming the foundations within our own artistic circles. We recognised the importance of cultivating a supportive network, one that not only nurtured our creative endeavours but also provided the necessary infrastructure for growth. 

Through our journey, we discovered incredible stories and talents within our community that we hadn't known existed. Determined to honour these treasures, we set out to immortalise them through our art, forging deeper connections and enriching our collective legacy.
